Lynn left this afternoon to go down state on business. So guess what? I'm in charge (like I'm not on a daily basis). That means...I can lock up the lobby when I want and go out on the town or I can have a party here. NOT!! I have been good (darn). I locked up the lobby at the regular time and I awaited your phone calls for reservations. My guests have long since gone to bed. I have decided that because I have no one to say good night to, I will tell all of you good night!

I am so enjoying your blog. First time for me to see it. And your photos are spectacular!!!! When we arrive 8-15-09 to your beautiful area, I certainly hope we can get as nice of photos as you. We'll be staying one night (perhaps I should have made it the two I could have got) on the 17th in the bridge view room on the top floor. I can't wait!! What a way to end our trip up there, with the best view of the bridge, as recommended by someone on tripadvisor.com. I think perhaps we should have started our trip with your motel...I think you could have told us lots of nice places to go. I've been to the bridge one time before nearly a couple of years ago. But that was a spur of the moment drive to see the Mac...3 hours drive to see it in the dark, in the middle of winter....LOL Crazy to do that yeah, but that was the only time we could squeeze in to go see it. Boy can that wind blow across it! So I look forward to seeing it and the island in all it's glory. And best of all, when it's warm outside! ;)
